The steel is RWL-34, a stainless steel that is fairly easy to sharpen even when out and about. The back of the blade is kept at a 90* degree angle. All the flats a handsanded, to a fine satin finish, where as the bevels are machine finished.

The handle is a full-tang for great stability, handling, and durability. The scales consist of a set of liners in red, and a Hunters green canvas micarta set of scales. The handle is rivetet with brass Corby screws, and a brass lanyard tube. Also, take a close look at the pictures. The handle on this bushcrafter is shaped differently than the original Bushcrafter v1
